the lesson starts with a game. The teacher brings up some flashcards and shows them to the students and they have to guess the pictures.(pictures are about people doing some simple activities like walking and listening), The teacher will use this activities then in the grammar part to clarify simple present.
Now the teacher asks students the question" look at the pictures now, what do you see? And who are they? think about it." then teacher writes the questions " who are they? _ what do you see" on the board so the students wont get confused. They have to do it in groups of two.
now the teacher walks in the class to take notes (if they have problems or errors to be fixed so this would help and improve the level of conversation between them). the teacher will move to every group so they can provide at least three words or sentence
the teacher asks students so share whatever they found then have a fast look on the picture for short details
The teacher plays the file after that asks random students to read it loudly
The teacher now writes these questions on the board and ask students for the answers to elicit the simple present form.(group activity) 1 they talk about now or past? 2 do we now the time it happens 3 is charlotte is now on the date? 4 isnt it a routine? 5 so when do we use simple present? after some minutes the teacher asks for the answers.after a while when everybody get to point the teacher will elict the present simple form by asking the question how do we make simple present? after elicit part the teacher now goes for drill.
Now the teacher brings the flashcards again gives two of them to each student and asks them to make sentences based on the picture and the grammar they had.
the teacher now plays the listening and ask students to repeat after each sentence (the teacher himself corrects the miss-pronunciations.
