T will ask students about their jobs, whether they work, study, self employed or retired, accordingly T will hand out blank sheets for those who work,T will ask them to write their jobs down . Call on 2 of my students to demonstrate the next activity which will be students working in pairs and try to have a conversations based upon these 2 questions, T walks around to hear what they are asking each other.
T will stick pictures on the board,of the targeted words . Ex "Hospital, office, hotel, school, cafe and company ". T will ask students about the other sheets within her hand that include the names of the places of the pictures on the board, will go through one by one with the whole class ,checking with them if it the right one to stick right beside the picture . T will ask the students if they can form sentences using the words on the board . T will then remove names of places, then an another identical picture to the initial one to explain other forms of the words "plural "
T will ask students to listen "miming " Then will point at the board while it's still got the pictures of those places, ask students to write down individually what they can pick up out of that conversation. When students are dome, T will ask them to check their answers in pairs .
T will call on one of the students ,ask student to choose one of the jobs in page 16,make sure that student understands that s/he shouldn't tell me which job they chose, then i would start guessing what that student chose as a job,ask student to sit, then ask the class to work in pairs discussing and guessing what the other does.
