Procedure (17-24 minutes)
I will ask the students to tell me what a good way to contact my friend who recently traveled to Canada.
I build a brain shape hole to make my students attentive to the word I am teaching by explaining the term without saying it and letting them guess and saying synonyms for the words (rocket science) we say it to tell that something is not easy or difficult to do. (internet piracy) it's an illegal activity to get software without paying money in return (computer literate) We use it to describe somebody to be skillful in dealing with the computer. (labor saving device) machines or inventions that save time and laborers (glued to the screen) we say it to say thast somebody is not doing any thing just looking into the screen
I show my slides that contain explanation about the words with photos. Then will repeat the word many times and ask the student to repeat. After this ,I will show them the spelling and clarify the stress and form of the word. I will make sentences to clarify the words more
Is internet piracy a legal activity? Would you use internet piracy to get something from the internet? Do you know somebody who you consider a computer literate? How can a computer literate help us? would you like it if your company uses a labor-saving device and fire you? do you find it rocket science to deal with any machine? do you spend your day glued to a screen sometimes?
