Procedure (49-62 minutes)
Ask questions to engage the Ss: What's your favourite country? Why do you like it? What special about it?
Show them some new vocabularies and pictures giving them a chance to match them correctly (working in pairs) then check the answers
I choose the students by turn to read a vocabulary and explain it and elicit the meaning. I explain the meaning and show them a synonym of each one of the words. I use a drilling technique to emphasis the information, like : discrimination drill
I show them an exercise with blanks in it on the board. I ask them to answer it individually by putting the right word in the right blank We check the answers together to make sure that they deliver all the lesson
I divide the Ss into groups to ask each other the same questions that we had in the beginning of the lesson and write down the common answers between all of them. I gather them all again to let one S from each group to show the final result of the discussion and how did they use the new vocabularies correctly
