To provide Ss with detailed reading practice through the context of renting an accommodation.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide Ss with fluency speaking practice in a discussion in the context of accommodation's selection.
Procedure (30-45 minutes)
T will ask Ss to say their names individually and tell about anything they like has the same first letter on their names.
T will show a picture about Levent a Turkish student who will study in the USA. Levent comes to the USA and he needs a place or somewhere to stay. He needs ...?' Elicit the word 'accommodation'. He doesn't have money. Can he buy a house? No. Can he rent a house? Yes. Does he have to pay every month? Yes'.
T will show some pictures to Ss. For each picture, T will ask, what do you think this photo about? to elicit each word. Finally, T will show Ss the word on the back of the paper.
T will divide Ss into 2 grups. T will give each group 3 advertisements. T will ask each group to read quickly and think what those advertisement about.
Reading for details: T will give Ss 3 people's profiles looking for accommodations. you need to match each person profile with the appropriate advertisement you have. T asks Ss to use key answers: male or female, monthly cost, what each person likes. I want to to think about why each advertisement is good for each person.
While Ss are reading, T will write: We think accommodation A is good for (Christophe) because ....... T will encourage them to speak to the another group about their matching. T will help them with the language when needed.
