Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-T will play hangman Homes and buildings -Divide the class in to groups of 4. Ask the students to read the question .help the students to understand the question Show them how to do the first one then ask them to finish on their own. paste the answers on the wall. Check with the students what are the words according to part of speech. Give feed back

Pre-Reading/Listening (7-8 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

Ask the students to watch the video without sound and number the images in Ex 1 through a-g. Display answers and provide feedback. Play the video with sound and let the students check answers for question 3 and 5.Play only twice.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

ask the students to read ex 1 on page 126 and match the answers.( Listening 1) Paste the answers on the wall and ask students to roam around and find meanings for the words give. Ask the students for feed back by giving the answers in a-g check understanding

While-Reading/Listening #2 (10-13 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

show students how questions are made with Do/Does Do photographs of food make you hungry? Is fresh food healthy? Are Dubai and Warsaw in different countries/ Can good food change the way we feel? Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
