Procedure (31-45 minutes)

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Students play the How old are you game represented through Genki application

Exposure 1 (5-7 minutes) • To provide context for the functional language 1

Teacher shows words from the song How old are you? Students repeat and revise the words altogether.

Exposure 2 (5-7 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the functional language 2

Teacher shows words from the song Do you have any brothers or sisters? Students repeat and revise the words altogether.
