To provide accuracy while using the prepositions of place.
Procedure (20-35 minutes)
- Using realia like (pen,table,chair and board) to clarify the prepositions of place like(on,under,in,behind,next to...) - Invite students to describe what they see. - Say a sentence and invite a student to draw it on the board.
- Instruct students to do some various exercises about the prepositions of place like matching and where is something in the picture... - Put them into pairs or groups. - Monitor them and provide help if required. - Feedback with SS. By making one of each pair to answer a question and if they get confused I will use realia or make a student draw on the board.
- Make students ask and answer each other: Where is ......? It is on/under/behind....
