Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

-play a game by asking them write as many things or hobbies they can then repeat at the end. T asks the students to brainstorm on page 61 T provides feed back and then provides more words to add to their plan. Then expand the idea of hobbies and life style and give the Sts vocabulary through collocation on page 62. Ask students the words cook,download and let the students to work and think about them. Give example and show Sts how to do it then give them chance to practice. Ask Sts to read and predict which words will be suitable with the three topics.

Exposure (5-6 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Ask the students to make questions at page 65 and practice . Ask the students to check at page 66.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T asks the Sts to check the learning objectives and explain what this unit is about and what is the end product. -T asks the students to discuss questions on page 69. T asks the students to match the words with the pictures.then ask questions to discuss the meaning. Repeat from yesterdays lesson .making questions and check the understanding. Ask the students to read the questions and listen.to Q3 and 5 .

Productive Task(s) (10-11 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
