Description
In this lesson, the SS revise some of the prepositions of place. The teacher helps them do a warm up exercise by trying to elicit some verbs related to the pictures he shows. After eliciting the verbs, he does a drilling exercise with each group. Next, each group tries to place the prepositions on under the pictures shown on the whiteboard. Finally, they do a controlled practice on their SB.

Procedure (29-39 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
The teacher shows some pictures and asks the SS to find the verb for the activity in each picture. After eliciting, he does a drilling exercise with those verbs.
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
The teacher asks the SS to match the verbs with the activities on the picture shown on page 5 of the SB.
Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
The teacher hands out the cards on which some preposition of places are written and asks them to match them with the pictures on the board as groups.
Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
The teacher asks the SS to check their answers by showing the answer key on the smartboard.
Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
The teacher asks the SS to do the exercise on page 5 of the SB.
