Procedure (32-40 minutes)
Ask the following questions: If you could spend a year working or studying in another country, which country would you choose ? Why? What would you like to do there? What problems do you think you might have ? T demonstrates and asks SS to work discuss in pairs
Distribute pictures and ask SS to describe what they can see in the photos. SS to discuss in groups. Feedback from each group
T distributes the questions and asks SS to have a look at the questions before they listen to the audio T plays the audio SS listen to the audio and answer questions individually. Discuss in groups Feedback from each group

Provide instructions on the activity. provide gap fill handouts to the candidates. Play the audio. SS answers questions individually and discuss in pairs. T to provide answer key and discuss answers. Do they refer to a completed action or one which is still happening? T to introduce candidates to the timeline and elicit answers. Discuss timeline
