Procedure (45-59 minutes)
T shows a few pictures of the capitals of some countries to the Ss. T asks them "do you like these cities have you ever traveled to these cities? how do they like ? are they beautiful / crowded/ small/ clean.....? T put Ss into pairs and give them 2 minutes to talk about the pictures T monitors the Ss to give FB. T ask for a class report from one pair.
T sticks some pictures related to the subject of the reading on the board and explains about them using different adjectives . T asks the Ss time to look at the pictures and describe them with as many adjectives as they can .
Ss actively engage in class activities chorally or individually. Ss have the chance to share their idea and information with each other. Ss read sentences and identify the adjectives.
T explains different forms of adjectives (simple /comparative and superlative) to the Ss by means of examples and pictures. T elicit meaning and by CCQs clarify the meaning . T clarify the meaning and concept and pronunciation of marker sentence.
Ss share their work with classmates which help them to learn from each other. Ss have the time to use the grammar they have learned . T gives feedback on Ss performance .
T gives some examples of adjectives with present perfect structures in simple sentences to Ss. T compare adjectives with nouns and adverbs and verbs . T correct Ss errors in their own speaking and writings .
T gives some exercises to Ss to practice adjectives and present perfect structure. T monitors Ss progress . T creates opportunities for Ss to work in pairs and or small groups . T encourages Ss and praise them for their strengths .
