Main Aims

To provide clarification and practice of can and can't in the context of daily life events such as competitions, regulations, requests and possibilities.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide accuracy speaking practice in a dialogue with OpenAI in the context of daily life situations for asking and answering with can and can't.
Procedure (39-55 minutes)
Students try to guess the topic from the "picture reveal". T asks questions in order to make students remember the audio from the previous lesson.
Audio from the previous lesson is used as a model of the language focus which is can/can't. They listen and choose the correct form. Then, they check in pairs.
Teacher highlights the uses of can/can't from the book exercise 3A p.39. Then they work on "Plickers".
Students go to Chatgpt to make a dialogue with the AI using the target language (can,can't). Then, share their dialogues in pairs if there is time in groups.
Students share their dialogues in groups and the teacher gives individual feedback.
Students walk around and ask questions from the talent survey on p. 39.
