Description

This TP will mainly focus on reading and speaking. They will discuss their opinions about ideal partner and will also listen to a recording and check their answers about same subject.

Procedure

Warm up (3-5 minutes) • To get students ready for the reading and speaking section.

I'll reintroduce myself, then ask students to think about their favourite dish and explain what the ingredients are and, if possible, how make it to the class.

Reading (8-8 minutes) • To draw students attention to the subject matter.

I will go through the question with the students and explain any unknow vocabulary. Then point out how the subject is related to addiction. I will put the students in pairs, but ask them to work individually at first to guess how they think their partner would answer. I will not let them compare notes at this stage.

Listening (10-10 minutes) • To get students focused on the adjectives mentioned in the recording.

I will go through the statement with the class and ask students to decide whether they think they are true or false. I will not confirm or deny any answers at this stage, but encourage discussion. I will play the recording for the students to check answers. Them, in a feed back session, i will find out if they where surprise.
