Procedure

Warmer/Lead in (4-5 minutes) • To engage students to their lesson

T will show the students some flash cards. T will ask the students some questions that relate to the time phrases. T will ask the students to guess answers for his questions in the flash cards.

Presentation (15-20 minutes) • For students to understanding the meaning of the new vocab leading to today’s lesson.

T introduces time phrases through some pictures. T introduces time phrases through flash cards and pictures? When do you get up? When do you go to Bebek? When do you eat lunch? When do you come to ITI? when does Hadi go to bed? T will show the new vocabulary on flash cards. T explain the meaning of the new vocabulary. T will check the Ss understanding. Ss will give examples about the new vocabulary. T explain the usage of ( in, at, on, every). Ss will give examples.

Practice a (5-7 minutes) • For Ss to match the time word to the suitable preposition.

T will divide the Ss to 3 groups. T will give some instructions. T will give them handout 1 and 2 to match them. T will Will ask the Ss to check their answers with their groups. T will check the answers with the Ss.

Practice b (6-7 minutes) • For Ss to practice their vocab through circling the correct preposition.

T will divide the Ss to 3 groups in a circle shape and change their places. T will give the instruction and ask very short question to check if the Ss understand his instructions. T will give the Ss handout 2 to circle the correct word. T will Will ask the Ss to check their answers with their groups. T will check the answers with the Ss.

Practice c (4-6 minutes) • For ss to know which of these prepositions complete the time phrase meaning.

T will divide the Ss to 3 groups in a circle shape and change their places. T will give the instruction and ask very short question to check if the Ss understand his instructions. T will give the Ss handout 4 and 5 to arrange them according the correct meaning of the time phrases. T will Will ask the Ss to check their answers with their groups. T will check the answers with the Ss.

T will divide the Ss to work with their partners. T will give the instruction and ask very short question to check if the Ss understand his instructions. T will give the Ss handout 6 and 7 to ask and answer each other. T will monitor the Ss.
