Procedure (34-45 minutes)
T will receive students exhausted of 90 minutes of studying. After short greetings, T will introduce a game. T will give instructions and tell them the procedure of the game. T will use the video projection to show how the game goes.(ICQs) The students will be divided into groups of 3. T will monitor the groups.
T will write "I am so happy today!" on the w/b and asks students to guess why. T elicits some ideas until she gets the one she wants. "I am going to the cinema."
T will put the students in pairs and ask them to discuss what they need when they want to go to the cinema. Elicit the items needed for the activity. Meanwhile, T will write and cover the related structures on the board. ....tickets for ........., please. How much is that? What time is the film? Here you are. Enjoy the film. Thank you./ Thanks a lot. You're welcome. .......adults. ........adult(s) and .......child(ren).
First, T will show the ticket offices, the tickets, the money and the film posters to the students. (ICQs) Then, T will tell them what they are supposed to do. (ICQs) T will uncover the related structures and tell the learners to pay attention to them. The students will be in groups of four. T will clarify that all the group members will be the ticket seller once.
Students will choose a film, ask about the price and the time of the show. T will monitor to make sure they are using the correct structure, words, pronunciation and intonation. As the students are doing the activity T erases the written structures one by one so that they can use the structures themselves.
T will draw the students' attention to their errors written on the board and asks them to correct in pairs.
