Main Aims

to enhance students` vocabulary related to healthy and unhealthy lifestyle by engaging them in meaningful context through sentences, enabling them to identify, describe, and discuss various aspect of health and wellness
Subsidiary Aims
-
1)Ss will engage in discussions and debates about different lifestyle choices, evaluating their effects on physical and mental health

2)Ss will improve their reading and listening comprehension by analyzing sentences that describe various lifestyle choices and their impacts on health
Procedure (42-61 minutes)
-Greeting -calling roles -T play the video and ask the students` opinion about the topics that were explained -T shows some related words and tries to elicit the meaning of them by giving some instructions
-T shows some related words and tries to elicit the meaning of them by giving some instructions - T writes the synonyms/antonyms and definitions Ss provide for each of the words -by using MPF model teacher works more on pronunciation and form of the new words
-T shows 4 interesting facts in the powerpoint file -T plays the audio file generated by AI to read each sentence for 3 times -Ss are asked to read sentences with excitement, sadness,etc -T provide synonyms/antonyms or definition for some of the new words
-T instruct Ss to make groups of 4 and work on 2 activities presented on page 51 -Ss share their answers within the groups -T evaluate their answers and ask for peer correction in other groups whenever necessary
-before the session starts,T has written 10 new words that the students learn in the following session in a seperated pieces of paper and stuck them on the wall - T instruct the Ss to work in their groups and decide weather each of the words can be categorized in healthy or unhealthy group(intra group) -T asks two volunteers to collect pieces of paper and do the activity for the whole class(inter group) -Ss check their answers
