Description

In this lesson,students listen to two friends who are meeting after a long time,followed by a comprehension check exercise.After listening,students pick the TL by using guided discovery .This stage is followed by a controlled and semi controlled practice of the TL .At the end a more freer practice will help the students to use the newly learnt language in any context.

Main Aims

Procedure

Warmer/lead in (3-5 minutes) • To engage students

T plays a game

Pre -Listening (2-3 minutes) • To prepare the students for the listening text

T will shoe the picture of Felepie nds sabrina and will ask the students about

Listening (5-7 minutes) • To listen for the main idea of the text

T will ask two questions whats their relationship and why he is in Italy Students will discuss and find answers .Te aher takes Fb.and writes on the board .Stuensdt listen and find out whats the correct answer

Focus on functional Language( Guided discovery) (10-15 minutes) • To clarify the meaning ,form and pronunciation of the functional phrases of the TL

T will ask them to liste amd fianlize

Grammar Practice (6-8 minutes) • To provide a semi controlled Practice of the TL

T will provide few cards

Freer spaeaking (5-7 minutes) • To provide a suitable activity to use the TL and attain fluency
