Ss look at the photos on page 52, match the clothes with the names in pairs. T takes w/c feedback.
Students listen to the track 6.12 for the pronunciation of the clothes vocabulary. The t focuses on the problematic ones. T shows "a pair of" structure and focuses on singular and plural words.
Ss point to the picture of the clothes and tell the word in pairs.
Ss listen and practise saying the colors. T elicits the form from ss. eg. "a black t-shirt".
Ss look at the colored pictures of the people on PPT and practice asking "what colour are (Lisa's shoes)? "What colour is (Wayne's shirt)?" questions and answer them. They change roles. T monitors, takes notes, takes w/c feedback.
Ss listen to the track 6.14, and put the people in the order they hear. Ss peer-check. T takes w/c feedback. T writes sentences with "usually wear", "sometimes wear" and "never wear" about herself. Ss write sentences about themselves and share their ideas in groups.
T writes some sentences about ss on WB. eg. "She is wearing a black t-shirt." and ss guess which ss. After that, ss write two sentences about the people in the class in their pairs and the other pairs try to guess the people.
The t hands out Identity Parades HO and one s in each pair describes the people in the pictures and the other guesses and they swap roles.
T elicits the vocabulary from ss and ends the lesson by thanking to them.
