To provide fluency speaking practice in a dialogue in the context of telling and asking for the time.
Procedure (34-45 minutes)
I will introduce telling time context by drawing a piece of cake, first I will cut it into 4 quarters. then I will point at each part of the cake, asking What's this? then I will draw another piece of cake but this time I will cut it into two parts and I will ask pointing on the two halves. what's this?
I will use the whiteboard to draw a clock and split it up into two parts. the right part will be PAST part and left one will be TO part to pay their attention to the difference between the two expressions that were going to use and deal with while we're telling the time I will hand them a handout about these terms like " quarter, half, to and past to the students
I will hand students handouts and they have to work in pairs answering the question and write the time in standard form. for example Quarter past three .... 3:15 and so on. after they finish they have to check them with new partner.

I will write on the board a sample question about me: for example when do you wake up?I wake up at half past seven. Then I will hand them some picture of daily activities and they have to practice asking and telling the time in the standard form.
