T shows some pictures to the Ss and want Ss to find the topic . (a terrible party).
T tells Ss to call out anything that comes to mind connected with the topic . t. writes up everything on the board, no discussion or commends needed. T invites Ss to select ideas they like and can use. Everyone should have something they can make use of.
T gives Ss a jumbled reading text. First students try to complete information gap activity. After that they read and reorder the text. They check the text in pairs. T gives the answer key to the Ss.
Ss compare the text with the mind map. They discuss " Is all the information from the mind map included?"Where?
T tells the Ss that they need a piece of paper. T explains the rules: start writing/ don't stop writing/don't put your pencils down/ don't worry about grammar/don't stop or go back/ keep writing until I say "stop"
T divides the class into 2 groups. S1 runs out of the class , reads sentences, memorize it and come back to the class, says what she/he memorized and S2 writes the sentence that she/he hear.
Ss write an email to a friend and they tell about the party of a friend. They use brain map and fast writing text and dictation text to help them.
T groups sts into two groups and they read each others work, they give comments. As a result of comments Ss can write a new draft of their work at home and submit it to readers for comments.
