Procedure (32-40 minutes)
1 T greets Ss and asks them how they are 2 T asks Ss to retell her story about her holiday using the words on the WB (Hawaii family plane in July good time) If they need I will prompt and/or write on the WB `was travelled had went`
1 T `look quickly at the pictures of the story, who can you see? T elicits "man, woman, dog, newsagent". 2 T ` Give me a word about each picture` T elicits holiday, dog`s home 2 T` Talk to your partner about the story, what is the story about?` (PW) 3 T asks one pair to tell their story 4 T asks other pairs if they have the same story; if not, what is different?
1 T `match the questions/sentences to the right pictures.Picture 8 has no question. Check with your partner. T puts answer key on the WB (1-c, 2-a, 3-d, 4-b, 5-f,6-g,7-e, 8-i, 9 h). T` let`s stick the Qs next to the pictures. 2 (T displays the answers speech bubbles on the WB) T `Read the qs again and let`s complete the sentences (Answer key on the WB: 1 were; 2 went; 3 did; 4 didn't; 5 didn't; 6 want; 7 did: enjoyed 8 come: 9 don't) 3 T `read the story (S); T `read these sentences, find the mistake in each sentence and writes the correct word`.
