Speaking lesson. Neighbours.
B1 level

Description

In this speaking-focused lesson, the student practices conversational skills in the context of neighbours. He starts by discussing the qualities of an ideal neighbour. Then, in a listening activity, the student hears two neighbors describe each other based on assumptions without having met. This sets the stage for the main speaking task, where the student and the teacher roleplay as new neighbors meeting for the first time, introducing themselves. The lesson concludes with feedback on language use. This lesson enhances student's ability to engage in introductory social interactions.
