In this lesson as a main Goal Students will learn how to use "will" to make predictions and decisions about the future, developing confidence in constructing sentences in the future tense. and as a Sub-Aim: Im going to enhance speaking skills through pair and group activities, allowing students to practice using "will" in conversational contexts.

Procedure

1. Warm-up • Activate students’ prior knowledge and introduce the topic

Ask students general questions about their future plans (e.g., "What will you do this weekend?"). Encourage students to make predictions or quick decisions based on the questions.

2. Introduction to "Will" • Explain the use of "will" for future predictions and spontaneous decisions

Present a simple explanation of "will" on the board with examples. Use visuals or a timeline to show when "will" is used (predictions vs. spontaneous decisions).

3. Controlled Practice (Writing) • Practice forming sentences using "will"

Provide a worksheet with sentence (e.g., "Tomorrow, it _____ [rain].") or ask students to complete sentences. Or make some examples together.

4. Speaking Practice (pair work) • encourage students to use "will" in spoken interaction

In pairs, give students a list of scenarios (e.g., "You’ve just found $20 on the ground—what will you do?") and have them ask each other questions to make spontaneous decisions and predictions using "will."

5. Feedback and Error Correction • Correct common mistakes and reinforce understanding of "will"

Listen to group's conversation and note common errors. After the conversation, provide general feedback on language use and specific corrections related to the use of "will."
