To provide fluency speaking practice in a Speaking and practising the dialogues in the context of The speaking practise is in the daily life context.

To provide product writing practice of a Postcard
Procedure (29-39 minutes)
The teacher starts mimicing of some actions and ask the students to guess what she is doing. - Running- What am I doing now- Running- What am I doing now- Dancing - What am I doing now- eating- what am I doing now- Drinking- This goes on for 2 -3 minutes and then the teacher wants the students to mimic to one another and try to the apply the same model for the implementation of the activity. Now they have an idea what they are going to deal with, - The Present Continous Tense
The teacher shows a pıcture to the students- It is a dog- The teacher asks the students - What is the dog doing- The dog is eating food- a The dog is eating a bone- Then the teacher writes the sentence on the board- he is eatıng the bone- What is he eating- He is eating a bone- The teacher gives some pictures and some activities to the students. Different activities include Daily life activities ın the simple present continous tense- The students work together in pairs and match the pictures with the activities. The activities are all in the present continous tense. They can also ask each other some questions after matching activity
On the project book there are some activities on page 23 - The students create questions together in the present continous form- They work together in pairs Students work together and create some sentences as in the activity shown on page 23. They work in pairs and answer the questions.
Students work together , they look at the pictures and complete the dialogues ( Exercise 5a) This needs to be a pair work.
The students imagine that they are on holiday and they write a postcard explaining what they are doing on their holiday. The students use present continous tense. After that, the students ask each other some questions. "What are you doing in your holiday?" " Where are you going?" The class ends with a production.
