Procedure (40-55 minutes)
I will ask my student to answer part (a) of listening.
I will give my student 3 minutes to read the sentences on part (b) of listening, then the audio file will be played.
I will ask my student to do part (a) of grammar. The answers are then given to the students.
First I will ask my student to do part (b) of grammar. Then I will ask my student if by looking at the sentences on the board, she can guess when to use passive voice( 1. When the focus is more on the action, 2. When it isn't known or important who does or did the action.). I will also (by the help of my students ) mention that they can use (by) to say who did the action. After that I will write active and passive form of a sentence on the board and let my student guess what happened to the structure of those sentences ( What happened to the subject and the object?)Then by the help of my student I will write the structure/form. At the end I will ask my student to help me change some of the sentences written on the board into negative and interrogative.(For better understanding, the audio file on grammar bank will be played.) Difficult sentences or verbs will be drilled.
I will ask my student to do the exercise 10A of grammar bank on page 145.
I will ask my student to tell me in her opinion what is the best invention in history and why?
