In this lesson students will practise their writing skills and will write an e-mail to their friends.

Procedure (41-55 minutes)
Lead-in/Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To set the lesson context and give some vocabulary to use through the text
-Students will be given a reading for gist (check the first line and guess what is the mail about) and then answer questions from the text. -Feedback will be given as answer keys.
Exposure (10-15 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening
Students will be given word meaning match up. Teacher will give the feed back as an answer sheet on the tables.
Productive Task(s) (15-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
Teacher will ask students to write a similar e-mail for a friend coming from abroad for a wedding.
Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
Students will hang the papers on the walls and walk around and read their peer's written materials. Ask them which advices they like, Do they agree with the transportation? Teacher will give a delayed error correction on the WB.
