Procedure (4-11 minutes)
Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Imagine waking up every morning excited to go to work. Not because of its paycheck but because it's an adventure. Have you ever heard of a job like this? If not, then buckle up as we dive into the area of some jobs that not only ignite your passion, but also pay the bills.
Pre-teach unknown words (1-3 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

While-Reading (1-2 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
Pause after each paragraph and write a few sentences about what surprised or interested you the most.
Post-Reading/Listening (1-4 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
