Procedure (34-45 minutes)
teacher writes the phrases the important moments and decisions on the board and asks the students how they are related. After eliciting their ideas, he asks a few volunteers to talk about their decisions in the past and how were they important.
T says that before listening the students need to know some words and phrases. T divides the Ss into two groups and first explains that there are more than one meaning for get in English. After clarifying this point, T asks the Ss to work in their groups to put the phrases in the right area of the chart on their papers from the course book and when they are done they should come and writhe their answers on the board. while standing at the board T checks their answers with the WC.
T give clear instructions to the Ss and after asking a few ICQs, he hands out the paper from the course book and plays the recording. After the Ss finish their job, they check their answers with their partner. afterwards T gives a quick feedback and moves on to the next stage.
T plays one of the sentences and after that elicits the sentence from the students. After drilling he writes it on the board and asks some CCQs. after eliciting the meaning he writes the sentence on the board on analyzes the form of the sentence. T then talks about the contractions in the TL.
T gives the instructions to the students and asks them to look at the sentences in pairs and fill the gaps. T monitors them to see if they are doing the right job. after they finished their job Tasks the Ss to read their answers for the class. T checks the whole class.
T asks students to stand up and mingle through the class. they should chose a partner and ask them about the important moments in their life. T observes the activity to find what mistakes they make to correct them after the activity.
