Procedure (30-45 minutes)
Ask ss to work in pairs and ask each other what foods are their favourite ones.Then ask ss to say what their partners like eating the most.
Teacher asks ss to work into two groups and teacher gives ten pieces of paper written on the names of foods and other ten pieces are pictures of the foods whose names were written on the paper given to the ss.Then asks ss to match the names of the foods to the pictures.Page 54 Ex1a
Teacher asks ss to work in pairs for the ex.page,54 ex1b.Teacher writes on the board some benefits of the foods.Ex; Vitamins Protein minerals a lot of calories Then ss stick the foods under the correct categories.
Teacher asks ss to work in pairs and make a lits eight foods that are healthy and eight that are unhealthy.Page 54 ex2.Teacher asks ss to read the ideas in the Ex3a.ans think on it whether it is true or not.Then,ask ss to read the text quickly'Food:Facts and myths.'
Give ss handout and ask them to fill in the blanks with the correct words that will be written on the white board.These questions are; Naturel fruit juice is GOOD for you. Don't drink any juice between MEALS. Water HASN'T GOT any calories. When you SLEEP,you don't eat for A LONG TIME. In the morning,it is important to start the day with a good BREAKFAST.
