Procedure (43-56 minutes)
Pre-teach: T will instruct (GW) to match vocabulary word strips to definition strips, each (GW) will switch tables and check the similarities/differences if any. Open-class FB guided by T to S-S.
T post images, demo CCQ's then SCCQs i.e. Who is she? Where is she?...Can she go? T will divide SS into "1", "2", "3", "4 (PW)". SS will participate in a jig saw reading task on the chart to findout the information they are looking for in text complete their chart and discuss with their (PW). Then (GW) to peer check work. GW-GW for peer FB, SCCQ's and opportunity for increased STT. Instruct then ICQ's.
(PW) "1", "2", "3", "4" get together to discuss the best way for Karen to go to the airport using TL. GW FB

T give SS H/O, (GW) create 7 questions to ask the other (GW) and vice versa about things you can and can't do at Galata Tower and The Blue Mosque. ie Can you visit everyday? Can you visit for free? (GW) FB, then round robin open-class FB CCQ's
SS will find the best way for Karen to spend her last 8 hours in Istanbul. She has 650TL , and she wants to visit Galata Tower, Blue Mosque, take the Bosporus ferry boat ride and be at Ataturk Airport at 630 p.m. It's 12:30 p.m....Where can Karen go?
