i will talk briefly about my last night( i wanted to meet my friends but they were busy) then add a sentence in the target language ( so I'm going to see them tonight , But the sky is cloudy and i think it's going to rain so i should take my umbrella. then i will write this sentence on the board( I'm going to ....) and ask my students about their plans after this class.before asking, i will introduce the structure by asking some of the students these following questions: are you going to meet your friends too? are you going to study tonight?

i will ask some CCQs related to the sentences written on the board( are these plans about present past or future? future, am i going to see my friends tonight or tomorrow? tonight, why should i take my umbrella? because it's going to rain.) then by the help of my students i will draw a timeline to clarify the meaning. after that i will write the formation of the sentences inductively. and lastly some of the sentences ( highlighting the pronunciation of going to) will be drilled by the whole class.

Controlled Practice (10-12 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

i will ask my students to do the exercise a 3A in grammar bank on page 131 in pairs and check their answers with their partners, later on i will give feedback if needed.

Free Practice (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
