Procedure (75-90 minutes)
after talking about a celebrity's appearance I try to encourage students to ask me info questions about one of their classmates that I have in mind and they have to guess who that person is this activity engages them with the lesson context.
we will talk about the questions in the book and I will elicit how much they know about them and then explain the questions clearly. students will also work in pairs so they can use the questions in conversation. I try to personalize the questions for them to make them think more about the grammar and ho to use it correctly.
students will have conversations in which they will describe someone they know then we will check it together after that I will ask them to do the activity we did in the warm up with their partners to make them feel more involved.
I will explain the grammar to students and make sure they can use it correctly. according to their previous lessons and the practices we did in this one, overexplaining can bore the students also I will elicit how much they have learnt through the lesson and try to correct their mistakes.
students will complete the sentences in the HO and we will check it in class this HO focuses on both today's and next session's lesson (after completing the sentences in pairs I will ask each group to ask and answer a question about the person's appearance loudly(OP))
students will do practice 5 and the last practice in the book in pairs then we will check it together. we will have a roleplay of practice 5 and then discuss the questions in the last practice.
we will play a game in which each student will write her\his name on a small paper and I will mix all of them on my table. then there will be two groups . one person from each group will stand in front of the class and pick one of the names .then their group must ask her\his questions about that person the group which has guessed more names at the end wins.
